Jim Mullen is an acclaimed guitarist and part of the elite list of world renowned first class musicians with his inimitable mellow jazz guitar sound with a unique technique, reminiscent of the great Wes Montgomery. His accolades and appearances over decades is too long to list and include featuring on the first three albums and touring with the “Average White Band” in the 1970’s and 80’s.
His Organ Trio, featured tonight, has been an important part of the British Jazz scene for many years, appearing regularly at all the top jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s, 606 Club, Pizza Express Dean Street as well as touring Europe and appearing at major festivals. The trio is completed with two brilliant musicians – Mike Gorman (organ) and Tristan Maillot (drums)
